Our Statement


All our candidates will hold an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Other checks undertaken by the company will include:

  • An explanation for any gaps in employment;

  • References, with at least one being from the current/most recent employer where possible.

  • A satisfactory enhanced criminal records check (having a conviction will not automatically prevent someone from taking up employment – A risk assessment will be completed based on disclosures);

  • Proof of essential qualifications and registration;

  • Annual declaration of suitability to continue to work with children.

  • Annual declaration of disqualification by association.

  • Ofsted approval, where relevant;

  • Proof of identity (via the production of documents on an approved list); and

  • Proof of the right to work in the UK (via the production of documents on an approved list).
